CEU Information

LandscapeWebinars.org, formerly The Landscape Expo Academy, is home to 100s of OnDemand sessions on prevalent issues, trends, and studies in the industry. Learn from industry professionals from across the country while earning CEU/PDHs from the most prevalent associations including PGMS, LA/CES HSW, ISA, APLD, NALP, and QWEL.

Here is a breakdown of processes for each of these webinars including what part of the industry they specialize in, how to report CEUs/PDH (and if you need to report credit or if it’s on LandscapeWebinars to do so), and when you can expect your certificate by.




Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD): LandscapeWebinars applies for APLD continuing education prior to the session for approval. Once the course has concluded attendees must submit and track CEUs to APLD. This organization specializes in design elements and looks to uphold high standards of environmentalism, professionalism, and good landscape design and horticultural practices. www.apld.org





Landscape Architect Continuing Education System LA/CES HSW: The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) provides information to members on Education and also provides Education opportunities including the LA/CES system. Currently 40 states mandate that Landscape Architects maintain continuing education (CE) units. Providers submit the record of attendance to LA/CES HSW directly and attendees also receive a transcript of attendance within 20 business days of the session. LandscapeWebinars submits to LA/CES via their portal for course approval prior to the session.





International Society of Arboriculture (ISA): ISA is a professional organization for arborists to stay current and safe in their daily tasks. ISA CEU sessions are submitted to ISA prior to the event for approval. Attendance is monitored and LandscapeWebinars records attendance and submits information to ISA within 30 days of the course.

National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP): The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) requires members to recertify every two years (24 CEUs required and 16 education related after passing the cert exam). NALP is committed to professionalism, environment, legal obligation, fairness, and employees within the industry including NALP itself. NALP is a self-reporting organization. www.nalp.org





Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS): PGMS is a specialized association for grounds management professionals. Members can earn CEUs through online portals a maximum of five CEUs per cycle. Certified Grounds Managers (CGM) need to report 25 CEUs every three years to PGMS directly. CGT meanwhile, need to earn 35 CEUs over a five year period. LandscapeWebinars submits to PGMS for course approval prior to the session. Attendees in need of CEUs must submit to PGMS via the portal. pgms.org





Qualified Water Efficient Landscape (QWEL): QWEL is committed to training in efficiency including water wise practices, reduction of runoff and overspray, efficient irrigation equipment, and irrigation controller (scheduling and programming). QWEL members must pass the exam and then maintain two CEUs each calendar year which is free and self-reported through the QWEL Pro Intranet. qwel.net
